YOU have the power to save the Drug Repository Program, which is in jeopardy of closing Jan. 1, 2010.  (The Drug Repository  is the program that accepts donated medications Helvetica-Bold">only from font-family:Helvetica"> nursing homes and companies that package medicines for nursing homes.  Then the Drug Repository dispenses the medications to patients who truly lack the money to afford their medications.)  This means medications that are now available for $7.40 per drug will no longer be available.  But you have the power to save the Drug Repository Program from closing.  How?  By writing three letters.

Please take the time to exert your influence by writing a “Save the Drug Repository” letter.  Ultimately it is YOU who has the power to save the Drug Repository Program that is producing social good and huge social benefits in Sandusky, Ohio. font-family:Helvetica">

If anyone would like a sample letter to e-mail to the Ohio Board of Pharmacy (The Board meets on December 7th) e-mail me at sued@servingourseniors.org.  I would be happy to provide you with a generic letter that makes the point.   --  Sue
