Gipe wishes for normalcy

color:black">Another tough week at the Gipe household. My wife is still in the hospital —15 days now. She had a pretty serious operation Friday afternoon to correct some of the problems she has encountered with the pneumonia and associated complications.

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">She is now in the Intensive Care Unit at Firelands (outstanding care being given) and is making slow progress.

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">Needless to say, I have not had a workout since last week, but have returned to the gym as of Monday morning.

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">I did not gain any weight during my absence from the gym, so I feel pretty lucky. I also came down with some respiratory issues of my own Wednesday afternoon and missed three days of work and one day of not being allowed in the hospital because I was contagious.

mso-layout-grid-align:none;text-autospace:none"> color:black">I hope we are into the home stretch with my wife and we can get back to some sort of normalcy pretty soon. I hope to have a more positive and productive week and have something to report on next week.
