The Commission Has Spoken On The Nuesse Matter: "No Comment."

A quick recap of the city commission's reaction to questions about the appeal of the civil service commission's decision to reinstate Kim Nuesse:

"No comment."

A string of citizens then took to the podium to voice their dissatisfaction with the situation. Most notably, former city commissioner Les Hall who delivered the "two inches tall" speech your dad used to give you after you made a really dumb decision:

I think it is now safe to say that Craig Stahl will not be re-elected.

I am starting to wonder if Stahl is sabatoging the commission and the city just out of spite.

Think about it, he has been called some nasty names on this website alone, plus it seems that not too many other people out there really like them. In all of my talks with people around town I have not heard one possitive thing said about him. So maybe, just maybe, he is sabatoging the city out of spite. Almost like how a ships crew will sabatoge their ship if they are about to be boarded by the enemy.........

This thing is way out of controll and the city seems to think that we should pay for there mistake .

I have lived in Sandusky for the better part of my life and I have to say that Iam ashamed to say that. this city is is ina state of ruins and the city dosnt seem to think that doesnt matter , the only thing they are intrested in is getting rid of the chief of police , well you know that the city appointed her and know they

are cring that they need more money to get rid of her

As far as i an see , there is no way that this is going to be settled untill council can grow up and see whats more important , and that is the recovery of the city

If you keep up in the pace that you are going , it wont matter what happens to the chief , cause there wont be any need for the council or the police cause there wont be anyone here to represent or protect .

In my book , the people of Sandusky need to step in and ask the feds to come in and take care of this city , cause the so called representives that we are suppose to have arent

And if the city will only look at the poll that was taken , 70 plus percent say to drop the deal with the chief and live with your mistake <if you can call it that >

The poll is here to aid everyone in what they feel might or might not help a. why dont you comissiner shut your mouths and books and listen , after all you were voted in and you were trusted to do whats in the best intrest of the people of sandusky

If an officer of our police would have disregard what the public is telling them and something had happened and the police failed to act in the publics best intrest that officer would not have his job . and its the same thing with the people that represent the public, i mean thats why we vote .Its time to cut our loses and maybe even take that appointment away from the city and place it in the polls . I for one dont feel safe in this twon cause of the waste that has been going on for years . and its time to let the fat lady sing and get back on track , and that track is to see whats in the best intrest of the public and then if it needs repair then spend our money on what is going to help all the city and not just your<the city comiissioners>ego

The city wants us to ok a income tax increase , well i say that if you want that increase you need to shouw us that is really needed and that it wont be wasted on the Chief matter> cause i might be wrong and if i am i will be the first to tell yea , i think they want that increase to off set the bill that the chief matter has made in the last 20 months .

If I were The chief i would come after the city for all the back wages as well as atterneys fees and what ever cost , and then look what amess it would be ,the city egos have cost us a million dollars and it was settled when she was reinstated , the city should have left it alone right there and then.

So in the mean time we are in mess cause we have to pay not one chief , but two , , yea the judge granted the sities motion to keep her from her duties , but no one as far as i can see , said anything about who is going to be paying her if she is in fact on leave with pay.

And you know that they say you can beat city hall? well dont you kid yourself , it can and has been done , dont let the one that represent you scare you , they are here to run the city and do whats in the best intrest of all the tax payers and not there EGO

Ok , now that i have said my peace , i am going to shut up

But before I go I just wnat to ask you all to look deep inside you and ask yourselves , do you run your twon or do the egos

The people have a chance to change things around if they would only get out and vote in November. Stop complaining and do something about in November. Let's take back our city. Don't become complacent or you will have more of the same nonsense for another two years until the next group of commissioners come on board . Can our city afford another two years of shenanigans?
