The annual Berlin Heights Basket Festival kicks off this weekend for its 25th year.

Saturday
• 9 a.m. — Bake sale (Congregational Church)
• 10 a.m. — Introduction of 2010 Queen and Citizen of the Year
• 10 a.m.-5 p.m. — Garden Club flower show (Fowler Room)
• 10 a.m.-5 p.m. — Quilt display (gym)
• 10 a.m.-noon — WGGN 97.7FM live
• 10:15 a.m. — Milan Lions Club kiddie tractor pull
• 11:30 a.m. — Baby contest (registration at cafeteria, 10:30-11:15 a.m.)
• 1:30 p.m. — Berlin Heights Kiwanis Basket Festival parade
• 2:30 p.m. — Introduction of visiting royalty and parade awards
• 3 p.m. — Edison High School Band concert (front lawn)
• 4-6 p.m. — Womack Brothers Family Band (main stage)
• 4-8 p.m. — Berlin Heights Kiwanis steak fry
• 5:30 p.m. — Basketball free-throw contest (courts behind school)
• 6:30 p.m. — Wing-eating contest (sponsor: Olivers Pub & Grill)
• 7:15-10 p.m. — Splitt band (main stage)
Sunday
• 7 a.m.-noon — Berlin Heights fire pancake breakfast (at fire dept.)
• 9 a.m. — Bettcher Industries 5K run & Citizens Bank 1-mile fun run
• 10 a.m. — Community worship service (main stage)
• 11 a.m.-5 p.m. — Quilt display (gym)
• 11 a.m.-5 p.m. — Garden Club flower show (Fowler Room)
• 11 a.m. — Marble tournament (cafeteria)
• Noon — American Legion chicken barbecue (tent)
• Noon-1:30 p.m. — Chris Castle (Americana singer, songwriter)
• 1:30 p.m. — The Big Old Parade (Parade Units Display Memorial Park)
• 2-3 p.m. — Mike Patterson, clown (in front of main stage)
• 3-5 p.m. — "Super Beatles," featuring Walt Sanders as Elvis (main stage)
• 3 p.m. — Home-run derby (baseball field behind school)
• 5 p.m. — Pie-eating contest (sponsor: Main Street Cafe)
