Kathy Sue Smith, June 5, 1956-Feb. 4, 2012

Kathy Sue Smith, 55, of Bellevue, passed away early Saturday morning, Feb. 4, 2012, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, after a brief illness.

She was born June 5, 1956, in Bellevue, to Paul Edward and Linda Lou (Meyer) Smith. Kathy Sue attended Double S Industries and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She loved talking on the telephone — actually she just plain loved talking to people — in her younger years she was know as “Chatty Kathy.” Kathy Sue loved listening to music. Any one that knew her, loved her, and received love in return.

She is survived by her parents; two brothers, Mark Smith, of Bellevue, and Greg (Beri) Smith, of Mount Vernon, Ohio; sister Paula (Kevin) Kohles, of Berrien Springs, Mich.; and nieces, nephews and great-nieces and a great-nephew.

Kathy Sue was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3204 Venice Road, Sandusky, where funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7. Pastor Marius Marton will officiate. At the request of the family, cremation will take place. Interment will be later in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
