Carol Jean (James) Stout, Dec. 9, 1951-Jan. 7, 2012

Carol Jean (James) Stout, 60, of Bellevue, passed away early Saturday morning, Jan. 7, 2012, in Stein Hospice Care Center.

She was born Dec. 9, 1951, in Portsmouth, Ohio. Carol worked at the Sandusky Register for several years.

She is survived by her husband James D. Stout; daughter, Dawne Marie Miller; parents, Harold and Mary (Kromer) James; grandchildren, Jerrod, Quinn and Tiyanna; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Cathy (Ron) Gruhlke, Cindy (Aaron) Harvey and Connie James; brother Michael James; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, until memorial services at 4 p.m. at Sandhill Baptist Church, 7703 Mason Road, Sandusky. The Rev. Gary Sorrell will officiate.
