The National Weather Service issued tornado watch in effect until 9 pm in Northcentral Ohio including Erie, Huron, and Lorain counties.
A flood watch also is in effect through Friday morning, Huron and Lorain counties. The ground is saturated from rain over the last few days and a frontal system and low will cause an additional 1 to locally 3 inches of rain through Thursday evening flooding some roads, streams, creeks and rivers.
A flood watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop. Check back here for updates.
