It's not too bad around here, last night at midnight around Elyria and Amherst the Ohio Turnpike had four inches of thick heavy wet snow, there were no lanes and people were all over, speeds were 10-45 all the way and it was snowing huge flakes, visibility was sometimes zero with no wind blowing, it was kinda fun as long as you took your time.I saw one plow at about the 250 exit, they were just getting out. Winter came back!

Coming from Toledo last night around 6:00 the turnpike was awful starting at Fremont heading east. No plows, no lane lines, almost a white out, about 20 mph to Sandusky. Route 4 just as bad, Strub not plowed either by 7:30.

Maybe our new part time clerk can plow.

Yep, you have to have people to do the job if you want anything done. Everyone seems to think ya don't need 'em :)

Good roads cost $$$. It's not just local, it's the whole freakin' state.

In not cutting on the Turnpike crews, they are usually right on it. The forecast was for flurries when I headed east on RT90, I cut across Baumhart Rd to the Turnpike at 3PM because it was a whiteout and thick snow doing about 20 mph outside of Huron, the Turnpike was fine then, some snow but they were plowing and laying salt.

I was looking at radar on my phone when I left Cleveland about 11PM and saw the glob I mentioned earlier between Elyria and Sandusky, flurries HA! LOL at that forecast, it was full blown lake effect coming down about 2-3 inches an hour easy. Good job to all the crews, thank you, the roads look pretty good today around the area that I have seen.

I guess you changed your mind? LOL
