50 years ago, 1963: The Chevrolet Airosphere Car Show was held at the Cedar Point Parade grounds for nine days. The show consisted of an air conditioned unit 100 x 40 ft., inflated and held in place by air pressure. An experimental automobile, the LP-700 Corvette, was the top attraction.
