10 years ago, 2003: Public optimism for the war in Iraq being successful and short grew, a poll suggested. CBS-New York Times tracking poll showed that almost 62 percent, said the war would be quick and successful, while 33 percent thought it would be long and costly.

Good comment. I was in opposition of war against any country that did not attack the United States. Iraq did not attack the United States and neither did North Vietnam.
