10 years ago, 2003: U.S. forces launched their long-awaited war against Saddam Hussein, targeting him personally with a barrage of cruise missiles and bombs as a prelude to invasion. Iraq responded hours later, firing missiles toward American troops positioned just across its border in Kuwait.

1 May 2003- "Mission Accomplished"
The sign was for the end of the carrier's deployment. It was for the crew. Not that it will matter to you. Doesn't fit the narrative...
"America and it's allies have prevailed in Iraq" Sounds like mission accomplished to me. Let's not rewrite history. Okay!
Those banners were never used on ships before at the end of their deployments? CNC or no CNC
Most Americans still believe he was behind 9-11.
And we never landed on the Moon.
I am unfamiliar with evidence that MOST Americans believe that. Could you please direct me to a citation that shows this overwhelming belief?
He was not behind 911, he just ignored the warnings!
You may be right DT. He had a whole 9 months to get his intel together. And Billy Jeff only had the 8 years before that and never cracked the code. I'm sure that the embargo put on shared intel didn't help.
I am right. GWB was the sitting pres so he is responsible. The WMD was suppose to come in the form of a mushroom cloud. We are not talking about chemical weapons!
So, sitting Obama is responsible for the defecit.....exactly right.
He is responsible for fixing it. We all know the deficit did not begin in 2009. Stop acting like you really care. How does the deficit affect you?
Really, with the debt raising daily, how has Obozo fixed it!!!!! Maroon.
Trust me, it will affect everybody!!!
That's one up on me DT. I was aware that there had be alleged sourcing of yellow cake in Africa but I didn't realize the there was a bigger concern that there was actual fissionable material than for chemical and biological weapons in Iraq.
The yellow cake story was also a lie.
What was the yellow cake story/lie? Got any specifics of the lie?
http://www.snopes.com/politics/w...
I apologize for not making myself clear that my understanding was the allegation was that they trying to procure yellow cake. I thought Mr. Wilson's trip was to see whether the Iraqis were trying to make a deal to buy yellow cake. I honestly never knew the allegation was that the Iraqis had received it.
Really porch puppy Snopes? How can you but any credence into Snopes when it uses MSNBC as a source.
Source? Or is that your opinion deertracker during the offseason
Another liberal history rewrite? It's always was about chemical weapons like the mustard gas he used on the kurds, his own people!
How was he going to attack the U.S. with mustard gas goofy? What he did to his own people is no threat to us. TURN THE CHANNEL......PLEASE...just for an hour!
I thought leftists were supposed to feel compassion for down trodden people all over the world. Obozo could just put all downtrodden on welfare all over the world!
Trollin' goof?
No porch, just regurgitating the truth about you wierd leftists
Oh ye master of revisionist history Deerpoacher, google Jamie Gorelick and The Wall. He had no warnings nimrod
oops! You didn't have any WMDs! Just disregard the missiles we sent your way then, we had bad intel!
There's never a good reason to try to clean out a viper's nest. Let the world carry on and the chips fall where they may. We can always try to clean up the mess later and find someone to blame.
The chemical weapons were most likely used in Syria a few days ago, if he had them he sent them out of the country to prevent the international community from finding them.
If Syria does have chemical weapons, did they manufacture them themselves? And if they did, where's the facility? If they didn't, where did they come from, who did they get them from?
I have no trouble believing they did come from Iraq. But it seems no one is very interested in finding out...
Both of you are just making stuff up!
