Racing is all about the numbers.

But beyond the length of lap times, pit stops and races, numbers also help people understand a racing team’s achievements.

Here are some of ThorSport Racing’s proudest figures to date, according to data tracked by team members:

•100,000: square footage of the racing team’s Sanduskybased headquarters, located off West Perkins Avenue behind Wendy’s. Employees manufacture, build, repair, test, paint and complete all other tasks necessary to build a championship-caliber race truck.

1: The number of NASCAR teams based in Sandusky.

18: years ThorSport Racing has competed in professional races, with 2014 being the 19th.

•2013: year in which ThorSport Racing won its first ever season championships in both the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and ARCA Racing Series. 

•24: position ThorSport Racing started in its first ever professional race in July 1996 at The Milwaukee Mile.

•12: place ThorSport Racing finished in that race.

•695: Official starts by a ThorSport Racing truck in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. 

•13: victories recorded by a ThorSport Racing truck in the camping series.

•88: Matt Crafton’s truck number in the camping series.

•316: consecutive starts Crafton has made in the truck series, dating back to 2000, a truck series record.

•3,391: laps Crafton completed, the most possible, in 22 races in 2013, a truck series record.

•98: Johnny Sauter’s truck number in the camping series.

•3: races Sauter won in 2013, the most by a series regular. 

•2: races Sauter won consecutively to start the season, tying an all-time NASCAR truck series record.

•13: Jeb Burton’s truck number in the ARCA series

•61: years it took before one team scored a top-10 finish in every race of the ARCA season. ThorSport finally accomplished this in 2013. 

•31: consecutive races in which ThorSport Racing’s ARCA truck finished in the top 10 from July 2012 to October 2013.
