Man finds missing wife in their hotel room

Haskins told police he and his wife were celebrating their anniversary and got into a fight while drinking at the hotel bar.

Police were called to Comfort Inn early Monday morning to talk to Emanuel Haskins, who said his wife was missing.

Haskins told police he and his wife were celebrating their anniversary and got into a fight while drinking at the hotel bar.

He admitted to drinking heavily.

They continued to argue in their hotel room, and his wife left to get ice. When she had not returned after a short time, Haskins went to look for her, including behind the front desk counter. Police also checked behind the counter when he told officers he thought she was there.

Haskins said he could not tell police what she had been wearing and would have to go back to the room to find out. His wife was in bed when he returned to the room.
