Bonnie Edgington, 61, 900 block W. Washington St., was charged with criminal mischief.

Edgington’s neighbor had noticed egg smashed on her vehicle multiple times in the past, but never called police because she did not know who was to blame, according to a Sandusky police report.

At about 9 p.m. Thursday, when she was walking back inside after dumping a bag of trash, she saw Edgington lob an egg out of her window, right at the neighbor’s car. When officers arrived they noticed yolk on the car and eggshells on the ground, the report said.

Officers questioned Edgington, who said she had no eggs. When they told her she was seen throwing the eggs, she remained silent, the report said.

After officers issued her charge, Edgington finally spoke up. “(The neighbor) and her friends often park in other residents’ parking spaces and make a lot of noise,” Edgington told police.
