The woman, now 18, told deputies about the allegation Tuesday, Chief Deputy Ted Patrick said.

“She said a male subject, a close family friend, gave her a ride to a function, and on the way back, he pulled off the roadway and put his hand up her skirt,” Patrick said.

The woman said she told the 56-year-old man to stop and he did. Investigators are checking into the matter, treating it as a possible gross sexual imposition case.
