A boy reported the incident Thursday evening, which allegedly occurred between two boys and a girl at a recent sleepover, Oliver said.

Detectives and Children Services are arranging interviews with the involved children, who are all between 8 and 11 years old, Oliver said.

Once the interviews are complete, the case could be passed on to the Erie County prosecutor’s office for possible charges. “In situations like this where the children are so young, we refer it back to the prosecutor’s office,” Oliver said.
