•Julie Wiswell graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa. Wiswell is a RN who resides in Castalia with her two children.

•Alison J. Brauchler, daughter of William and Marilyn Brauchler of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Norwalk and Milan, and a 2004 Edison High School graduate, graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, with a Doctorate of Pharmacy. She graduated from Ohio Northern University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science and has been employed by Physician’s Reference Laboratory in Kansas City since 2008. She resides in Shawnee, Kan.

•Karina Kowalski, of Put-In-Bay, at Wittenberg University, was inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta, a national honor society that seeks to recognize and encourage scholarship among first-year college women. Selection is based entirely on achieving a 3.5 cumulative GPA for fall semester of the first year.
