A Sandusky boy was arrested for threatening to kill his neighbor Tuesday, police said.

The 15-year-old boy, who lives in the 1800 block of Remington Avenue, was charged with aggravated menacing.

The boy’s neighbor told police the teen and another boy have been shooting BB guns at signs in the area for the past several days, according to a Sandusky police report. Fed up, the man confronted the other boy’s mother at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, and in response, she took the boys’ gun away, the report said. The boy then hurled a slew of threats at the man, saying it was his “hood” and he would go get a gun and kill him with it, the report said.

The boy’s parents tried to calm him down, but he allegedly kept threatening the neighbor’s life. When officers located the child on East Oldgate Road, he said the man accused him of having a gun when really, he was throwing rocks, the report said.

The boy, already on probation, was arrested and taken back to the Erie County detention home.

He was just practicing.

Stop It

Boy taken from his "hood" and thrown in the slammer. He was just an excitable boy. He meant no harm. Threat of death, yeah that's nothin'.

Nemesis

It csn't be true; he's a local. Rebuild Sandusky tells us the city's problems are all caused by tourists.

Teens getting involve with notorious actions are the ones that are being neglected. So parents must be updated to whatever things or activities their teens are into, even if they are young adolescents. We must secure them let them feel safe. So that there will be no misconduct will occur. Aside from that I have discovered an application that will help people to be safe and secure. Click: http://safekidzone.com/#!/page_home
