A Sandusky woman was arrested Tuesday for allegedly kicking a police officer while paramedics tried to tend to her.

Jesica Bonilla, 26, 1200 block Seavers Way, was charged with assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Officers were called to Bonilla’s home around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday after Bonilla threatened to hurt herself, according to a Sandusky police report.

Bonilla’s husband later said she’d been drinking for four days straight and was upset he played pool and video games with a friend, the report said.

While paramedics were there, Bonilla tried to lock herself in her bedroom and began arguing with officers.

When she emerged, Bonilla allegedly shoulder-checked an officer. Police started to handcuff Bonilla, but she swung at them and became dead weight, the report said.

Inside the emergency room, Bonilla refused to give her information to hospital staff, saying she didn’t need help, and pulled away from officers as they escorted her to her room, the report said.

As Bonilla was escorted back outside, she kicked Officer Ken Gautschi in the knee, the report said.

Well if she wants to act like that, let her. Drop her off at home and let her be. Called "natural selection".

you guys are mean and none of you blamed her husband who apparently thinks it's more important to hang out with his friends rather than his wife. she has a drinking problem but it's just covering up the other problems.

Factitious

Right. He should put his own life on hold, be the enabler, and go to the bottom with her. Nine out of ten alcoholics agree - it's someone else' fault.

doppleganger

You mean his life of playing pool and video games? LOL

She is a grown woman, responsible for her own actions.

I wonder if either of them work! Probably living off tax payer dollars.

OH-IO

I know alot of commentors are making fun of her and that's fine and dandy but truthfully I would hate to be in a hell hole with someone like this. I hope she gets help.
