Sandusky police are investigating an apparent two-person stabbing that occurred Sunday inside a Shelby Street home.

Police responded to the scene in the 1300 block of Shelby St. at about 8 p.m., Lt. Michael Campbell said.

Soon after, a man and a woman were transported to Firelands Regional Medical Center with serious injuries from stabbing wounds, he said.

It appears only the two individuals were involved in the matter.

"We aren't actively seeking anyone else right now, but we're making sure we uncover every possible angle we can," Campbell said. "We have BCI on the way to assist in the investigation."

No charges have been filed, and police detectives are still at the scene investigating.

relax. we dont know any of these people. if somebody makes the paper, people will comment. if it's your family, i can understand you being upset, but we do not know the people involved. for the sake of your own feelings, dont let comments from people who do not matter make you too upset. i do, however, wish these people the best..
