Officers never found a gun, but arrested Brandon Frezzell, 19, of Roseville Mich., for disorderly conduct intoxicated, resisting arrest and underage consumption.

It was just after 2 a.m. when officers learned of a fight in the parking lot behind Daly’s, off of Water Street, according to a Sandusky police report.

A bystander informed a bartender that one of the men had brandished a gun, the report said.

When officers approached a group standing in the lot, Frezzell allegedly began walking away and said he was not going to do what officers told him.

Officers ordered Frezzell’s hands out of his pockets at gunpoint, but Frezzell continued to walk away, the report said. He was forcibly taken into custody and allegedly wrestled with officers as they tried to cuff him, the report said.

Frezzell was taken to the Erie County jail.
