A boy, 17, 1800 block Third St., was charged with obstruction, marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia, underage consumption and a probation violation.

Brock Fuqua, 20, 700 block Wayne St., was charged with failure to comply with a police signal, left of center and marijuana possession.

Fuqua had four occupants in his car when officers stopped him at Warren and Reese streets for going left of center Sunday around 10 p.m., according to a Sandusky police report.

When Fuqua stopped the car, the boy and one other male took off running. The boy, meanwhile, fell to the ground a short distance away, and was found to be carrying two bags of suspected marijuana.

Officers lost sight of the second man, but when they returned to their cruisers, they saw Fuqua driving away, the report said. He was located at Monroe and Wayne streets with two joints in his cupholder and one passenger short.

The boy was taken to the Erie County Detention Home, Fuqua was released, and officers never located the two missing passengers.
