The crazy melee ended with officers charging James Fegyak, 53, 1000 block Hancock St., with two counts of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct while intoxicated.

Authorities also charged Leslie Greene, 44, 1000 block Hancock St., with assault, disorderly conduct, domestic violence and resisting arrest.

Responding to a call, offiers arrived at the residence and heard someone screaming. They then saw three people, including Fegyak and Greene, on the floor wrestling with one another in a pool of blood. Greene allegedly punched Fegyak in the ribs when officers began separating the trio, according to a related police report.

As officers placed handcuffs on Greene, Fegyak allegedly jumped onto an officer’s back and tried pulling him away.

Authorities needed to use “reasonable force” to take Fegyak into custody, the police report said.

A nearby resident, who witnessed the incident, said he heard Greene shouting and saw her punch out a window to shout for help.
