Derek Gangluff, 34, 600 block Venetian Drive, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence, failure to control, unattended motor vehicle, marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia.

It was about 1 a.m. when a Sandusky police officer spotted Gangluff walking away from his Jeep Wrangler, which was stuck in a snowbank on Columbus Avenue, according to a police report.

Gangluff, who appeared intoxicated but refused sobriety tests, told the officer he was just trying to get home.

As officers prepared to have the Jeep towed, they found a mason jar with a small amount of marijuana, along with a plastic container with seven marijuana cookies, the report said.

You have to really try to get a Jeep Wrangler stuck in the snow.

Why don't the officers in this city worry about the real crime and criminals instead of harassing the citizens that actually contribute to this community...... If I want to have a few cocktails and smoke a joint , it should be my right to do...... Get a clue and open up you eyes
