A Port Clinton man was indicted Tuesday on two counts of gross sexual imposition for allegedly having sexual contact with two children under 13.

Christopher Jones, 37, of the 200 block Buckeye Blvd., allegedly acted out a tickle fetish of some sort on the children.

A woman went to Port Clinton police May 18 saying the children were molested by Jones, who is a family friend, according to a Port Clinton police report.

One of the alleged victims told another family friend Jones "was tickling her in her private parts," the report said.

The woman spoke with the other child who confirmed the same thing happened to him, the report said.

She went to police the day after the alleged incident because the woman said she initially thought about handling it on her own, the report said. She was encouraged by her sister to report what happened, she said.

She and the children also met with a representative from the Children Services agency.

When police questioned Jones, he did not ask what the allegations were. He asked who the involved children were, the report said.
