A 20-year-old pregnant woman from Pennsylvania was hospitalized following a three-car crash Sunday afternoon.

Jenna Robbins, of Ellsworth, 26 weeks pregnant, was in stable condition following the chain reaction crash on Milan Road near the Sonic Drive-In, Perkins Township, police said. She was treated at the hospital as a precautionary measure, police said, not for any serious injuries.

Her husband, Dylan Robbins, 21, was driving the Suzuki sedan when it slammed into a red Toyota Camry, causing that car to bump the Chrysler Sebring in front of it. No one was seriously injured, police said. Evan Hachey was driving the Toyota. “I was stopped at the light,” Hachey said. “He must have just stopped too late.”

Dylan Robbins was cited for a clear distance violation. The Robbins’ 15-month-old son was in a car seat in the back seat. He was not injured, police said. The Suzuki had far more damage than the other two vehicles.

Police said it experienced critical front end damage. The Robbins were staying the weekend at Kalahari, police said.
