Perkins Schools is gearing up for its longtime athletic fundraiser, a reverse raffle with a grand prize of $10,000 waiting for one lucky participant.

This year’s 23rd annual raffle begins 5 p.m. April 5 at the Erie County Fairgrounds, with 300 people expected to attend.

Entry tickets cost $20 and include a dinner prepared by Outback Steakhouse and Danny Boys Italian Eatery, as well as a chance to purchase reverse raffle tickets to win cash and dozens of other prizes.

Money collected benefits the Perkins Athletic Booster Club, to fund equipment and supply purchases for all Perkins Schools athletic programs, as well as eight annual student athlete scholarships for high school seniors.

“The Perkins Athletic Booster Club and their support is a major reason for our athletic success over the past several years,” Strohl said. “This hardworking and dedicated group is committed to providing for our students”

Let's see if dumbnuts codemnn Perkins for having a fundraiser since they attacked Scs schools for having a raffle. Why do Perkins need a raffle after all they have money after all since Sandusky has kids on free lunch they are so bad now Perkins kids don't need money isn't that why donuts family go there to get away from is poor people from Sandusky who all accept entitlement money and benefits.

sandtown419,

Is Perkins giving away a 40 inch TV to attend an academic improvement function ? I must of missed that. This is a athletic fundraiser.

Very similar to the Sandusky Booster Club fundraiser .

Can you understand the difference ? Or should we go over it again ?

PS my kids never attended Perkins schools. It's just the school district I live in.
