Lazy? Incompetent? Want others to do your work for you? Then become a Cop. Then you too can be a useless drain on society collecting welfare(paycheck would insinuate that you worked for it). Even if I knew these kids, I would not turn them in. The Police need to do their jobs. Unless the perkins cops want to pay the community to police itself.

A Young Adult's...

You, my friend, are ignorant. Police officers risk their lives on a daily basis to protect you and me. Why not seek outside help to catch criminals? You act like tracking these clowns down is easy. The police ARE doing their job to the fullest I can assure you. There is absolutely no harm whatsoever requesting the help of the general public. I sincerely hope someone does turn these idiots in.

Jmschmidt812

Maybe you just don't get it. Police use the media to get names on potential suspects. They've done their job investigating the crime but need just a little more to put names to faces.

candleburner

What an idiot!! Do you know how many people are out there in Erie County? And what's to say these 3 are even FROM Erie County! That's why taking this to the public is so important - to help the police find them, not do their job FOR them. Heaven forbid anything happen to you and the police have to help you for any reason. Let's put it this way, just pretend that someone breaks into your house in the middle of the night (while you're away for some reason) and ransacks your house and takes everything of value. You obviously call the police and they begin their investigation. Now do they do ALL the work on their own and maybe NEVER get whoever committed the crime against you or will you allow them to ask the public - you know, your neighbors & other people like that, to help out to see if anyone might have seen something. Or are the police being lazy and incompetent? And only wanting others to do the work for them? Being "a useless drain on society collecting welfare" while they're trying to fine out who broke into YOUR home and stole YOUR things? makes a difference when it's YOUR things over someone else's things right?

Swiftshot

Take a look at the name sandskyslayer. hmmm maybe it is one of the people they are looking for along with other crimes. Swiftshot refers to quick words btw. (I don't own a gun)

SSlayer, I will not attack your comments as you are well within your rights to do so. What I would like to point out/mention is that all law enforcement/emergency responders have to react to the crime as it is taking place or after the fact. Yes they can predict what areas MAY have an issue about to take place, but as far as crime prevention, that ball is in our court. We stay observant and have folks willing to come forward when they do see a crime, we can prevent some crimes. However, law enforcement is not the source of the crime, but we as their eyes and ears, can help to prevent the crime.

Since you're not a cop, you obviously have no idea how much work they do. You think cops are a useless drain on society? Remember that the next time you call 911 and fend for yourself because you don't deserve their service. These people are probably from out of town so they need help in identifying them. Perhaps they also are not on police radar in other towns or do not have records so they can't identify them from this video surveillance. Your comments are ignorant and you need to find out how much the police do for little in return.

J. Hartman

I'm hoping your comments weren't aimed at me? If so, let me know so I can inform you of what I do and who I work with.

SamAdams

Sorry, Slayer, but the police ARE doing their jobs! It's up to them to seek out and talk with possible witnesses or others who might have knowledge of a crime. Fifty years ago, they went door to door. Today, they likely still do some of that but they also have the Internet. If you REALLY want police to do their jobs, don't you think they ought to be using every tool at their disposal?

As for you not turning people in, well, I'm sure that's your call. Me? I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that I had it in my power to remove another potentially dangerous thug from the streets, and shame on you if you COULD!

starryeyes83

The biggest useless drains on society are idiots like the ones in the photos. You can bet THEY don't work for a living. Drug dealing and stealing doesn't count as occupations.

JudgeMeNot

The good thing is they got 0-bamacare.

Company's need to buy better cameras. If you have a business and want to protect it, why use such junk.

amcbeal

My 4 year old laptop had a better webcam than these. You know most of these companies can afford better equipment, too.

bnjjad

Good camera setups are expensive in not only initial cost but also costly to use everyday. Good cameras make bigger file sizes and storage can get expensive for camera systems so they compress the video so they can store more video time for longer. Be thankful these are at least Color.

Stop It

BS..a freakin' smartphone has better quality. Newer computers have terabytes of space in the HDD. There is no excuse for such poor quality in this day and time.

Darwin's choice

They only needed black and white.

JudgeMeNot

LOL.

Unassumer

it's companies. plural words DO NOT have apostrophes. apostrophes are for possession as in Jane's house. plural words generally have just an an s or es.

amcbeal

I think the first one is Dave Chappelle.

holysee

no way! it's Sam Kinison!

JudgeMeNot

The third guy is Tupac.

From the Grave

He's pretty funny for a blak guy

Ned Mandingo

looks like him to me.

Ned Mandingo

the third one is ashy Larry.

whattheBucks

I think the one in the middle is the girl who won american idol a few years ago...do I get a reward if its her ? And the one on the right reminds of that one black criminal from the area....I hope that helps narrow it down.

Unassumer

the 'black' comments make you look ignorant. oh, guess what? you are.

whattheBucks

I'm sorry unass does the criminal in the pic not look black to you ?? I see in a lot of your comments you use the word ignorant ? For an unassumer you sure do assume a lot. And by your last comment you sound like an idiot." Oh, guess what ? You are."

JudgeMeNot

Uhasscumer, Why are these 'blacks' committing crimes?

BEHAPPY

@ A Young Adult's... MY thoughts EXACTLY!! SanduskySlayer has some major issues :/

Swiftshot

The mustache does not look real on either of the dudes. Keep your mind open everyone.

JudgeMeNot

Why are they really white folks wearing blakk shoe polish?

FredDoobler

The middle one's Barack

BabyMomma

Obama voters.

JudgeMeNot

Hey the got a free phone.

grandmasgirl

My mom always said: "If you can't be a help, don't be a hindrance". I think we need to help all we can. If you don't know the person (or have a good idea), then don't make with the jokes. It just takes up valuable space.

Father of 1

SanduskySlayer, are you serious? The police, fire, ems, and other personnel put their lives at risk daily. I'm glad when they put this info out so we can all be more aware and help if we know some info to help them bring down criminals. You will appreciate it someday if you ever need them. I want to personally thank all of the police, fire, ems, and military men and women who help keep us safe!

whattheBucks

+1

everyday joe

I just saw where the New London Police Department was able to use the help of Facebook users to apprehend someone they were looking for. Hopefully someone in the community will be able to help Perkins PD get these people off the streets.

OH-IO

Wow! I can't believe the worthless immature comments coming from about 35% of the commentors. This is serious. Your comments about the suspects don't help apprehend them. Play the word games with yourself and grow up. Oh, let me guess your already an adult. Keep up the good work SR for keeping us informed and thank you officers.

JudgeMeNot

The truth hurt? I see photos of three blacks committing a crime.

Onemanforce

Sslayer: look back, waaaaaaaay back to the old west. Remember the "Wanted dead or alive" posters they used to post in the streets. The news papers articles asking for information on The Outlaw Jesse James and Doc Holiday? Turning to the public and the media for information is a tried and true technique. Tried and true! Next time you need help, call a crack-head. Good luck with that btw.

starryeyes83

Ironic , isn't it? That we, the anonymous posters, would be asked to help, knowing that we hide behind OUR screen names.

And I would, if I knew who they were.

KURTje

Well put starry. Many here do know many things regarding local areas/events. It would bode well for the Register to remember that since some have a lineage of a century or better here.
