The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash at about 2:30 p.m. April 21 after luring a store manager to the cash office at the Perkins Avenue store. He was carrying a handgun.
Pat Catan's coroprate security director recently created a "wanted" poster including three photos of the suspect taken from video surveillance cameras. They will soon be disseminated throughout the local area.
The store's corporate security employees have been "very proactive" in working with Perkins police to solve the case, Perkins police Chief Ken Klamar said.
"Due to the seriousness of the crime, we want to find this person as well," Klamar said in an email this afternoon.
Witnesses said the suspect was black, of a slender build, at least 6 feet tall. He was wearing a blue shirt, jeans and a green baseball cap with flames on it.
Anyone with information should contact the Perkins Police Department at 419-627-0824.
