An immigration investigator’s affidavit says Natividad de Jesus Hernandez is from El Salvador and was using a permanent resident card with someone else’s registration number.

Authorities said Hernandez accidentally ran over his son with his van in Union County on Dec. 26. Hernandez has pleaded not guilty in state court to charges including aggravated vehicular homicide and forgery.

Defense attorney Arthur Mullins requested Monday that a federal detention order against Hernandez be revoked based on a recent suggestion by federal prosecutors that the immigration charges, which mirror some state charges, could be dropped.

This is BS! 69,000 criminals set free to wreak havoc with no repercussions, pretty sad when criminals have more rights than law abiding citizens. Thanks Obummer your a real piece of work you are.
