Explosion damages Seneca County house

An explosion damaged a houseThursday in the Seneca County community of Bettsville, about 40 miles southeast of Toledo.

There were no injuries, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.

The explosion occurred about 8:20 a.m. at a house near Monroe and Union streets, a sheriff’s dispatcher said. No one was home at the time, she said.

The dispatcher did not say what the extent of the damage was.

The incident remains under investigation.
