Woman strikes person with car in Bellevue

From Bellevue police:

On Aug. 7, 2014, at approximately (5:22 p.m.), the Bellevue Police Department responded to East Main Street (U.S. 20) near Lyme Street for a vehicle versus pedestrian accident.

A vehicle driven by Marilyn Perry of Lindsey, Ohio, was eastbound on East Main Street and struck Pamela Beckham of Bellevue, Ohio, as she exited her vehicle parked in front of the Bellevue Public Library.

Pamela was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center by (a medical helicopter).

Marilyn was arrested  and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence, driving in marked lanes and failure to control. Marilyn was taken to the Huron County jail in Norwalk. Further charges against Marilyn are pending.

Pamela's condition is unknown of at this time.

I hope the lady she struck will be okay. The drunk.....who cares about her at that age? No reason for this.

where does it say anything about age? despite her age, or the time of day, she should not have been drinking and driving and hopefully the woman she hit will be okay.
