A group of Sandusky boys caused mayhem on Fourth Street Monday night.

A 16-year-old Remington Avenue boy, 15-year-old Fox Run Trail boy, 14-year-old East Perkins Avenue
boy, 14-year-old Knupke Street boy, and 13-year-old East Larchmont Drive boy were all charged with disorderly conduct.

A 16-year-old Hancock Street boy was also charged with marijuana possession, obstruction and underage tobacco possession.

Sandusky police received a report of a brewing fight, teens toting guns and a brick through a window around 8 p.m. in the 1800 block of Fourth Street.

When officers arrived, they learned one of the boys had appeared to throw a large vehicle part at a home which left no damage, according to a police report.

Officers then found four boys out of breath in the Breakers Express lot after a woman flagged down a police cruiser. Another was arrested after firefighters at station 3 pointed him out, the report said.

One was carrying a BB gun, but denied it was his.

A sixth boy was also arrested after an officer found two cigars in his pocket and watched him try to ditch a bag of marijuana on the ground, the report said.

All six boys were taken to the Erie County Detention Home.
