This is the fond nickname they've bestowed on the school district's nurse, Becky Szucs.
“Can you sit by me all day?” a 5-year-old boy asked Szucs Thursday.
She simply could not. She visits five schools throughout the week, making it virtually impossible to spend an entire day in any one classroom.
Every day at 10:15 a.m., she drives to either Hancock, Venice, Ontario, Mills or Osborne elementary schools, where she ensures the students have their medications and their medical conditions are all checked.
