Cancer Services is a local non-profit that provides free services to people with cancer. Riedy and friends raised $14,000 for the charity that is very close to their hearts.
Riedy said: “I’m really excited about what we accomplished. We had close to 900 dinners served. We are determined to raise all we can to fund the vital work being carried out by Cancer Services. Local people have really supported our fundraising and all of my friends and family have promised to help next year. Every day people are burdened with the physical, emotional and financial side effects of cancer. Cancer Services is there to help, like they helped me.”
