SANDUSKY

Transformation happens. Richard Koonce will talk about how the former Campbell and Madison schools have become the Nehemiah Center and the Spirit & Truth Ministries church, respectively.

Koonce will be the featured guest on “Between the Lines Live” at sanduskyregister.com at 3 p.m. Friday. Elected as a Sandusky school board member in November, Koonce also serves as executive director of the Nehemiah Center. He will be joined on the program by Larrick Zirkle, the center’s program director, to talk about the youth outreach programs.

The region’s only talk show will also include Funcoast.com magazine’s top picks for fun this weekend and Register reporters Jason Singer and Sarah Weber. Singer will talk about what’s next for Sandusky as it brings on new commissioner Diedre Cole, while Weber will discuss the three-part Golden Children series.

Keep Focused

The activities and events being planned for these two old school buildings is the most important work that is occuring in our community.

The schools are being re-furbished and re-tooled for the future development of our children and families.

I have attended several meetings at these buildings and they have been put to great work already.

Larrick, Richard, and Tracy you are doing great work. Hopefully we can raise some money for you so you can keep going!
