The Huron school board is poised to reinstate ousted superintendent Fred Fox tonight, according to a meeting agenda recently posted to the district's website.

The agenda includes a resolution that reads as follows:

"Therefore, be it resolved by the Huron City School District Board of Education that the Board accepts the recommendation of the referee."

"Therefore, be it further resolved that Fox's contract of employment with the Board of Education remains in effect and that Fox shall be paid his full salary for the period of his suspension from September 7, 2012 to the present date in accordance with R.C. 3319.16."

Tune in here at 7 p.m. for pre-vote interviews, updates and a live video stream of the meeting at McCormick Middle School.

There you go again

Why?

Bada Bing

Why not! He should of never been fired in the first place! If I were him I'd go back to work, get the back pay and quit!

CAST THE FIRST STONE

nobodyfromnowhere

Tony,
forgot my phone this morning so instead of a text, I have to send you an actual emaiL. Met again last night until 11pm... basically decided to give Fred the opportunity to explain himself in executive session next Tuesday, May 22. Getting strong vibes from John Caporini and Kevin Asher that Fred "might" have made a few mistakes, but we'e all human sort of reaction. Very frustrating! at least the process is moving forward and getting closer to a final resolution.

((Does anyone know any other Coach Tony ? And Tim SOWecke sharing 'executive session' information.. Wow.. Your heroes seem to twist and turn things any way they want no matter what the LAWS are. And by the way.. they used the school's email system !))

Tsu Dho Nimh

Should he have done this - no. How much information have you shared that happens in executive session and the board office? You have a lot of nerve criticizing someone else. Not all information is FREE MAN!

THED0N

Cast The First Stone - Learn what you are tlaking about before you speak and look like a fool! Fred has had no union to back him because his position doesn't allow him to be in a union. I belive an idiot would vote no for his local levy.

NotYourAverageF...

This is all very sad. Fred Fox has been a dirt bag to the teachers & staff (except behind the sandbar)from the beginning. This is NOT what Huron schools need. The board needs to speak to the current and retired teachers and staff on his character and morals, or lack of. Tim Sowecke is a good man. His character or love for the city of Huron has never been in question. Just goes to show any low life can buy his way though anything.

Tim's such a good man.. Wow !

good old boy

WOW,so much for executive session. What a joke this is.....

Tsu Dho Nimh

It would have been okay had he been emailing a mistress, right?

Hoss McGee

Not Tony Legando the best coach in the SBC but the coach who chokes on all the games that matter.

srblogger

and just how was you able to obtain this email?

good old boy

Its right in the documents. Read them !!!!!

Perkins2060

We will gladly trade you Gunner for Fox.

Retiree

I would bet the defendants attorney told the Register how to write this article. Read what it says carefully.

Darkhorse

I think the legislation was prepared just in case. I can't believe the board is going to ask him back. Why bother having the meeting tonight if the school has already made up their minds to reinstate him. Maybe the Register is reading too much into this?? Let's hope so.

nobodyfromnowhere

Um what do you think the Saturday executive session was for? So they could all get together and watch cartoons?

Justme...

I agree Darkhorse. Any of them could get a resolution on the agenda.

Retiree

The agenda includes a resolution that includes:. Look who is back smiling. Bet he's not after the meeting.

Soon the "Good Ole Boy club" will be back together...got to love Huron....Not really..

Darwin's choice

Fire everyone who's name is mentioned! Teachers,Boardmembers, bus garage people, all have an agenda now. None will ever be trusted again!

Justme...

Last ditch effort to get people to be afraid to speak out. Nice. Predictable. Desperate.

Tsu Dho Nimh

What an ignorant comment.

Hoss McGee

What about the damn BUS? Where Jim Blodgett with this? The Donut shop with his girl?

Tsu Dho Nimh

Good question, Hoss. BTW, will Darwin be one of the self-proclaimed mafia group standing in the back of the room? That's what they do at most board meetings.

Hoss McGee

I remember back in the day Jim Blodgett had a bus they took to the Indy 500 ever year. Is this where the bus went? New bus new times nobody will know come on Freddy lets go to the race.

Darwin's choice

never happened....but nice BS try....
