A passing motorist spotted a white Ford Taurus driven by Jennifer Strader, 25, as it was going through a field in the 9900 block of Ohio 60 at 11:19 a.m., according to the report.

Wakeman police found the Taurus parked in a car wash parking lot and detained Strader, who told the deputy she’d been fired from her job and was on her way home when she crashed.

She had tried to adjust her radio and when she looked up, the vehicle in front of her “brake-checked” her, and she swerved to avoid hitting it and went off the road into the ditch.

Strader told police she got out of her vehicle and screamed, then got back in and tried to find a way out of the ditch, driving through the field. Wakeman police told the deputy Strader had said she crashed her car and was going to wash it before she reported the crash to police.

Strader was cited for failure to control and leaving the scene of a crash.

Looks like she didn't make a 'CLEAN' getaway!! lol

LOL yeah! I just don't see the logic in washing her car before reporting the crash. I mean that's the last thing I would think of after ending up in a ditch, unless she was trying to wash away evidence of ever being in the ditch. I don't know. Weird story.

If she had been at the car wash long enough she would have done the Mr. Miyagi thing: "WAX ON - WAX OFF!"
