Reading these posts makes me simply say "wow!" First, we assumed that these bikers are guilty (all of them) just because they ride Harleys and wear leather. Second, you stereotype all bikers by saying things like they're all lawless, even though many of them are police officers and veterans who protect your right to slobber that crap out of your mouths. You complain about the noise but fail to recognize that the noise lets drivers know you're in their blind spot and saves lives, it also wakes you cagers up when you're looking down texting...I wish you would complain about that as a real issue. Lastly, you complain about the large volume of bikers because you are self righteous and think you own OUR city; guess you hated Indians too, huh? Besides all of that, these bikers bring our flailing economy a ton of money and probably do more for charity than you have ever done.

Make ya wonder ,how many people aren't going to get caught because the SR posted this.

Whatever is going on, it's not a huge surprise that it's happening right before bike week. Maybe now some more law abiding motorcycle riders can actually enjoy the festivities.

This will totally ruin Bike Week. The Outlaws were the only ones there not dressed up in some costume they bought at the store. Now they could just call it Ohio Loud D-Bag Week.

All of the current Outlaws MC ARE law abiding citizens, and having the Outlaw MC in town has stopped a lot of the BS that happens at other Bike Week events across the country. This is an Outlaw town, that keeps all the other riffraff bikerclubs out of our city. Nothing happens here that doesn't pass thru Dewitt Ave. And if it's BS it gets shut down quick. I'd trust an Outlaw with my mother before any local LE.

RV

Amen Jack. The group has a heart of gold and are great people. They shouldn't be judged by the group name.

Seriously? Seriously? You obviously have no clue of what you are talking about! I have had personal experience with how evil these a**holes are-as a matter of fact, I had PTSD for over 30 years as a result of how "sweet" and "nice" they are. Not the locals but an Outlaw is first and foremost an OUTLAW-doesn't matter where their chapter is from. And I'm only speaking in reference to 1%ers- not the decent, hardworking bikers that come to Bike Week every year. I watched a film of a woman getting skinned alive staked out on a beach in Florida for escaping from their clubhouse after she was tired of the gang rapes and beatings because she didn't want to work as a stripper anymore and threatened to go to the cops. So, you wanna tell me again how nice they are?

Support your local outlaws

Instead of going after the outlaws why not go after some of the actually violent so called "gangs" in sandusky.

Go after the ones that are breaking into houses, robbing people in the streets, and being general A**holes.
This outlaw raid might net some coke or meth. Whoopty doo.

By taking law into their own hands, vigilantes flout the rule of law, effectively becoming lawmaker, police officer, judge, jury, and appellate court for the cause they are pursuing.

I would trust a Outlaw with my pile of cash/valuables before any law-enforcement for sure. We cant even trust LE to deliver girl scout cookies

its about time

I wonder how this is going to do to our bike week? I'm not talking about just this year, but in future years.

camero

why would this effect bike week the outlaws have nothing to do with it so if we dont have the 100 or so outlaws at bike week this year or next it will make no difference

FlyBoy86

Basically, think of it this way. Would you rather have Tony Soprano running the town or would you rather have Richie Aprile.

MrSandusky

Let's think about this....their name is 'The Outlaws"...sounds like a bunch of boy scouts to me...

Jack Frost

Oh the Avengers are really Avengers. Dirt and Grime are actually dirty and grimey. Are the Hells Angels, Angels from Hell. Are the Lost Riders really lost. Are Perkins PD really Police Officers?

doggie mom

Since all Outlaws must be criminals I was wondering if we could go ask McClung and the other officers removed from post what their position is?

Swiftshot

Hmmm. If I were in the FBI I would have waited for all of the outlaws to migrate to bike week and then get em.

Jack Frost

As far as the FBI waiting untill all Outlaws coming to Bike Week. Are you serious, Better to Raid the clubhouse with one man sleeping then to wait untill 50 plus Outlaws in town where they would be out manned and probably out gunned too. Barney get your bullet out of your shirt pocket.

Interesting comment.

MrSandusky

Yeah, I thought these guys were peacefull loving individuals... Not the type that would be armed and would fire on an officer of the law... Very interesting comment...

ladydye_5

I know ALOT Of bikers that ARE peaceful law abiding citizens....and they are ARMED.
