EHOVE Career Center is offering another Parent Information Night on March 11, specifically geared toward parents of students with disabilities.
The session, called “What is there to do this summer?!” is 6-7:30 p.m. in room 110 of Building A. It includes a simultaneous program for students with disabilities, so students are encouraged to attend with their parents. Anyone can attend, including families whose children do not attend EHOVE Career Center.
The presentation will detail different summer work programs and other activities available locally in the summer. Participants will learn more about selfadvocacy, legal differences in rights and responsibilities and how to access services.
The event includes beverages, a light snack and a raffle drawing. Anyone who pre-registers will receive an extra raffle ticket.
To pre-regsiter or for more information, call transition specialist Marissa Peters at 419-499-4663, ext. 224, or 419-627-9665, ext. 224. She is also available via email at firstname.lastname@example.org .
