SHS Band prepares for season

Will host free concert Wednesday

The Sandusky High School marching band practiced their routine for the upcoming season during the second week of band camp Monday, lead by director Danny Klohn.

The group will perform a free concert featuring music from the 1960's at Strobel Field Wednesday at 7pm.

I can hear you all practice when I'm out landscaping. It really is a subtle addition to the city to have something wonderful and ambient like that. Good job, I hope you all have a great year!

I was in the marching band when I was in high school. We had a lot of pride in marching band and did everything that was expected and more. I know Mr. Eash is probably rolling in his grave seeing these kids not in line and having members being on the wrong foot.

I'm not talking about during the performance, I'm talking about going to the stadium and coming back from the stadium. Mr. Eash always said 'I don't care if you are in uniform or not, show your pride'.
