Norwalk school board members have scheduled a special meeting for 9 a.m. Saturday, according to a news release emailed today.
Board members will discuss personnel, and the release did not specify if the meeting will be closed-door, or if action is expected.
The district is in the process of selecting a new superintendent, as current superintendent Dennis Doughty is set to retire July 31.
Board members have narrowed a list of candidates to five finalists and have been conducting interviews during closed-door meetings throughout the month.
Saturday's gathering will be at the district's central board office, 134 Benedict Ave., Norwalk.
