Norwalk school board members have scheduled a special closed-door meeting for 8 p.m. Thursday, according to a Wednesay news release.
Board members will discuss personnel, and no public action is expected, according to the release.
The district is in the process of selecting a new superintendent, as current superintendent Dennis Doughty is set to retire July 31. Board members have narrowed a list of candidates to five finalists and have been conducting interviews during closed-door meetings.
Thursday's gathering will be at the district's central board office, 134 Benedict Ave., Norwalk.
