The measure generates about $78,000 in funds for the district, but during last May’s election, residents shot it down by just eight votes.

This time around, the levy was approved by about eight times that amount, according to unofficial results from Tuesday’selection.

A few dozen Erie County residents living in the Monroeville School District ultimately struck the measure down, 43 to 22, but Huron County voters made up the slack, with 485 in favor and 401 against.
