SB5 ruined all levy chances i predict. will be suprised if any area levys pass because of that. Teachers voted no on sb5 now our turn
Wow...I didn't know Ohio had that many teachers.
teacher union money. dont be dumb.
Makes little to no sense to raise taxes on a depreciated asset.
Market value on a home has already been lost and then ya wanna increase expenses on it?
Salt in the wound.
contango they will never understand that. They want to be safe from the bad times. They figure they pay their union dues so they deserve to not take part in the money loss
I am not a teacher. Not even in a union. I voted no on sb5. It just wasn't fair.
and by the way the union dues are tax money i pay that they use against me. such a crazy ladder of money
A NO vote is necessary on any school until they cut staffing and learn how to better manage their current budgets......
SB% would have won if they did not include the fireman and police. I would have voted for it.
SB5 would have won if they did not include the fireman and police. I would have voted for it.
Sandusky did cut staffing.
Sandusky did cut staffing.
Not enough
Pay for play in sports
Glad the smart ones leave
Sandusky is dreaming if they think they can get the levy passed. It will keep coming back up until it is passed and we will keep voting it down.
Sandusky hasn't mismanaged its money. The state has cut funding but the expenses have gone up. So if not a levy, where else can they get the necessary funds?
What will happen when other schools get our best and the whattabees are left....
Really expenses have gone up and teachers dont want to pay their fair share. thats what we are saying..hello
I remember reading a month or so ago that they agreed to no pay increases. I have also been told from a reliable source that they are paying more money out of pocket in regards to health coverage/prescriptions. Sounds like they are being reasonable to me.
I'm not a teacher, not in any union of any kind and I voted no on SB5. I will always vote yes for our schools though. Our children are our future. Without a good education, our future is doomed. Who is going to teach our children if they have to cut more teachers jobs?
I'd love to know what Cast does for a living...if anything at all. Too gutless to be honest though, I bet.
SC Schools should have asked for a 10 mill. With 70% rentals it would have surely passed. Renters don't realise their rents go up. Anyone know where the money is going too?
Passing the levy means nothing if you cannot collect it with 6 million outstanding in delinquent taxes just in Sandusky.
