Elliston native, singer, and American Idol finalist Crystal Bowersox will thank volunteers and host a canvas kick off at the Obama for America Sandusky Office at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The event is part of the OFA-OH's Women Decide 2012 initiative. The office is at 218 Columbus Ave. in downtown Sandusky.

Celebs always have a following that will vote blindly for who they endorse. Of course they have no qualification many times, but that's how it works. I would go if she would sing at least one song. But just a political pep rally, nope. She's a singer, that doesn't magically make her all knowing in the political arena. Besides, everyone already has their mind made up on who will get their vote. Those who needed her to make up their mind should be few and far between.
She has as much qualifications as anybody else who votes! Why all the nasty comments? If she was for Romney some of you would be kissing her butt.
