(UPDATED 1 a.m.) Bellevue voters approved a 1-mill replacement levy for the city's recreation department.
Only Bellevue residents in Sandusky and Huron counties voted on the issue.
The collective total was 1,470 votes for the levy and 1,107 votes against it.
In Huron County, the breakdown was 537 for, 432 against.
In Sandusky County, it was 933 for, 675 against.
Bellevue voters in portions of Erie and Seneca counties did not cast a ballot on the issue.
The levy will fund the city's recreation department, generating $133,000 a year. The money will support the Bellevue Community Center and the city's parks.
