Meet city commission, manager candidates on Wednesday

Sandusky residents can meet the potential new leadership for the city during two events scheduled for Wednesday.

First, there will be an open house in the State Room at the Sandusky State Theatre to give the public an opportunity to meet the candidates for city manager.  The meet and greet will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. City commissioners and employees also will attend.

It will be followed by a candidates forum sponsored by the Erie County Chamber of Commerce from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Room 300 of Sandusky High School. The six candidates running for Sandusky School Board will open the program, followed by the eight candidates running for Sandusky City Commission. City residents are invited to attend and ask questions.

The candidates forum, to be moderated by Tim Kelly of Tandem Media Network, will be also be streamed live at sanduskyregister.com.
