Brianna Boonie faces up to three years in prison for the charge, but struck the deal with Huron County prosecutors who agreed to drop an accompanying conspiracy to commit murder charge in exchange for the guilty plea, according to court records.

Boonie was charged after allegedly helping Tyler Smith and Connor Holbrook, after they fled a Willard area home after Smith used a crowbar to attack the teen. Smith, 19, is serving nine years in prison for attempted murder.

Holbrook, found guilty of complicity to tampering with evidence, obstructing justice, and complicity to felonious assault in November, is set to be sentenced Jan. 9.

Boonie is set to be sentenced in Huron County Common Pleas Court Feb. 6.
