An employee of Meadow Green Memorial Park on Bogart Road discovered the damage around 8 a.m. Friday and quickly contacted deputies.

An office building window was pushed up, and a screen laid nearby, the report said. Inside, two offices had been rifled through — files were pulled from cabinets, drawers stood open and five boxes of jewelry were removed from a curio cabinet, the report said.

The jewelry boxes and two urns were later found stacked by a door, but the worker told deputies nothing was stolen from the building, the report said.

The worker said there were multiple people in the building Dec. 20, and about $130 came up missing that day, the report said.

My question in this is: 5 boxes of jewelry, were these taken off bodies before they were buried? Just wondering, some people are buried with their favorite jewelry, rings, necklaces and etc. hmmmm just wondering
